Eva Mae Ferguson White, 96 of Union Mills died on Tuesday, February 14, 2012, at The Hospice House of Rutherford County. She was born on May 15, 1915 and was the daughter of the late Harrison and Bessie Smart Ferguson and was the widow of Reid White. She was preceded in death by a son Frank White and sisters Annie Sue Ferguson Ammons and Nancy Ferguson and brothers Frank Ferguson and Joe Ferguson. She was the oldest member of Centennial United Methodist Church and was a former employee of Doncaster.

She is survived by two daughters Hilda White Conner and husband Don of Moore SC and Martha White Green and husband Lloyd of Bostic. Two sons John White of Union Mills and George White of Bostic. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren.
The visitation will be held from 6 to 8 pm on Wednesday February 15 at McMahan's Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 2 PM on Thursday February 16, 2012 at McMahan's Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Paul White, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow at Centennial Methodist Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Centennial United Methodist Church
