Roger Dale Taylor, age 59, of Rutherfordton died Sunday, April 13, 2014, at Willow Ridge Rehabilitation & Living Center. A native of Rutherford County he was the son of the late Sam and Margie Taylor. Roger was an avid train and history buff and had worked at Aeroquip. He was a loving Christian and a friend to all. He was preceded in death by a sister Annette Fisher. He is survived by

Three Sisters:
Dorothy Scott of Gilkey
Sandra Brock of Rutherfordton
Donna Hudson of Cliffside

Three Brothers:
William T. Taylor of Gilkey,
Sam Ezell Taylor, Jr. of Bostic
Michael Ray Taylor of Morganton

and a number of nieces and nephews

The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, Thursday, April 17, 2014 at McMahan's Funeral Home. A memorial service will follow in McMahan's Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00 PM with Rev. Paul Nelon and Rev. Bill Alley officiating. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hospice of Rutherford County P.O. Box 336 Forest City NC 28043 or to Willow Ridge Nursing Home Activity Fund 237 Tryon Road Rutherfordton NC 28139.
