Neal L. Craig, age 69, of Rutherfordton, NC, died Monday, May 19, 2014, at his home in Rutherfordton, NC.

He was the son of the late Lee and Winnifred Gilbert Craig.
Neal was a member of Green Hill Baptist Church. He is retired from Duke Energy and a graduate of Gardner Webb University. His passions were hiking and piloting a plane. He also liked to research his ancestry. He worked in textiles for many years.

He is survived by his wife: Barbara Mode Craig.

One Daughter:
Leighann Windbiel and husband Dave of Rutherfordton

Two Sons:
Neal L. Craig II and wife Debbie of Rutherfordton
Chris Harmon and wife Kristin of Rutherfordton

One Brother:
Max Craig of Florida

Three Grandchildren:
Neal Craig III, Nathan Craig, and Ella Windbiel

Special Niece:
Kimberly Lane

Kenny and Kerry Craig

Brenda Hutchens and other sisters-in-laws and brother-in-laws.
Two great nieces: Hannah & Savannah Grant.
Also a number of other nieces, nephews, and friends.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Friday, May 23, 2014 at McMahan's Funeral Home . The funeral service will be at Green Hill Baptist at 1:00 PM, Saturday, May 24, 2014. Interment will be at Green Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Community Pet Center, P.O. Box 623; Rutherfordton 28139.
