Lucille Chandler Bailey, age 92 , of Rutherfordton, NC, died Friday, August 30, 2013, at Brookside Rehab Center in Burnsville, NC.

She was an active member of First Baptist Church of Rutherfordton. Lucille was very active with the Green River Baptist Association serving as Associational WMU director for six years. She retired from General Fire Proofing. She was preceded in death by her husbands; Charles B. Bailey, Frank G. Biggerstaff, John A. Bailey.
She was the daughter of the late C. A. Chandler and the late Bessie Wainscott Chandler. She was preceded in death by one sister Ruth Smith and three brothers Leonard Chandler, Charles Chandler, Boyce Chandler and one grandchild.

Two Sons:
Arthur (Hugh) Bailey and wife Mary of Newland , NC
David E. Bailey of Alpharetta, GA

One Brother:
Roy Chandler of Rutherfordton, NC
Special niece Carol Sullivan and seven other nieces and nephews.
Six Grandchildren
Four Great-Grandchildren
One Great Great Grandchild.
The Funeral Service will be at First Baptist Church 2:00 P.M. Monday, September 2, 2013 with Rev. Tim Marsh, Rev. Dean Baughn and Rev. Billy Honeycutt officiating. Visitation will be Sunday from 5:30 to 7:30 P.M. at McMahan's Funeral Home.

Interment will be at Green Hill Baptist Church Cemetery, Rutherfordton, N.C. The family will be at Lucille's home. Online guest register at McMahan's Funeral Home & Cremation Services in charge of arrangements.
