Allen Edward Proctor, Jr., age 70, of Rutherfordton, died Saturday, July 5, 2014, at Hospice House of Rutherford County. He was a native of Dorchester County, SC. Allen was the son of the late Allen Edward Proctor and Connie Owens Proctor. He worked as a maintenance technician and was a member at Holly Springs Baptist Church. He loved to fish, loved Ham Radios, and was the founder of IARC. Allen was a member of Masonic Lodge 460 in Cliffside and belonged to the OES Lodge 100 in Cliffside.
He was proceeded in death by his brother Vernon Ray Proctor of Columiba SC.

He is survived by his wife; Thesa C. Proctor.

One Daughter:
Bonnie Lawson and her husband Steven of Rutherfordton.

One Brother:
Ronald Keith Proctor of Cameron, SC.

Two Grandchildren:
Elizabeth and Jessica Lawson

The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Monday, July 7, 2014 at McMahan's Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at Holly Springs Baptist Church Cemetery at 1:00 PM, Tuesday, July 8, 2014. Interment will be at Holly Springs Baptist Church Cemetery, Rutherfordton, NC. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hospice of Rutherford County P.O. Box 336 Forest City NC 28043. Online guest register at McMahan's Funeral Home & Cremation Services in charge of arrangements.
